This program provides a 75% matching grant to local governments for the construction of public boat ramps providing access to public waters. Sponsors must provide the land, legal access, and the 25% matching share. Sponsors must also accept operation and maintenance responsibility of the boat ramp for at least 25 years.
The maximum grant per application is $500,000 ($750,000 per project). Application submission deadlines are January 31st and July 31st each year.
